You might not recognize the name and the venue location was new but you will recognized Mitch Hallock the producer of the formerly named Connecticut ComiConn and president of Big Fedora Marketing, LLC.
This years con was held at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. The event took off with a steady stream of con goers and yet another great group of creative people showing off their works of Comic Con Art. There was also a surprise in store for everyone who attended and that was the announcement of the new name “TerrifiCon” a name that definitely suits the event.
As usual there were many artist, guest and vendors on hand to keep everyone entertained and spending money. The costumes where top notch and the event was easy to get around with no shoulder to shoulder wandering around so you didn’t feel like you’d be swallowed up in a sea of people.
Another as usual was the crazy traffic we fought in order to get to Uncasville which is typically 1 1/2 hours away from us and took us approximately 4 hours to arrive. It was well worth the trip and even with the stress of traffic everyone seems to perk up and enjoy the con as soon as they walked through the doors.
Another great Con completed for 2015 congrats to all the con goers who donned their amazing costumes and congrats to Mitch and the newly name Terrificon! Till next year same place, new name, and more adventures.
